The intermediate ring of synchronizer is a crucial part of the automobile gearbox synchronizer. The ring is matched with the inner ring and the outer ring of the synchronizer assemblies, enabling, under the effect of friction moment, their synchronous rotation after the inner cone of the synchronizer ring contacts with the outer cone of the gear ring as it is joined. At such time, the speed of the gear relative to the synchronizer ring is idle, and the gear is further engaged with the gear ring to be joined, thus achieving the gear shifting.

Claw type intermediate ring
The claw type intermediate ring consists of the conical body and claw, wherein the claw is erected on the conical body.
According to the design functional requirements of synchronizer, the claw type intermediate ring mainly includes three-claw type, four-claw type and six-claw type.

Material
Foreign intermediate ring products are mostly made of carburized steel while the products are made of GCr15. Through many bench tests and verification of market, the material fully meets the usability requirements.
